Internal medicine covers prevention, diagnosis, conservative and interventional treatment as well as rehabilitation and follow-up care for conditions of the heart and circulation (cardiology), the digestive organs (gastroenterology and hepatology), the kidneys (nephrology), the metabolism (endocrinology), autoimmune diseases (rheumatology) and the vascular system (angiology).

A wide range of examinations is available in the practice for a rapid work-up: exercise ECG, resting and Holter ECG, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, lung function testing, ultrasound of the abdominal organs, heart and blood vessels, as well as laboratory, urine and stool analyses.
